Legion of Mary

What is the Legion of Mary?

The Legion of Mary, Our Lady of Peace Praesidium of Holy Name of Jesus Parish is part of the largest active apostolic organization of laypeople in the Catholic Church, whose members make up a total of more than 10 million members worldwide. The object of the Legion of Mary is the glory of God through the holiness of its members developed by prayer and active co-operation in Mary’s and the Church’s work.

Legionary Members support each other and the parish through prayers, spiritual acts of mercy, and evangelization. We meet every Thursday from 10:00 am to 11:30 am in the church rectory. We accept new members as auxiliary members and invite those interested in becoming active members.
